Job Description

Join our International Private Bank Markets Finance & Business Management team and play a visible role in shaping business performance and strategic execution.

As a Finance & Business Management Analyst supporting International Private Bank Market managers, you will help drive business performance, strengthen the control environment, and enable strategic execution through disciplined analysis and effective cross-team coordination. You will partner with market managers and business management leaders to support initiatives, track objectives, ensure the integrity of reporting, and use data and digital tools to generate insights that inform decision-making.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with senior managers and team leads to analyze business results and deliver insights across performance, strategy, operating models, and control topics.
  • Support market strategic initiatives and projects by helping align priorities, coordinating deliverables, and tracking progress against objectives.
  • Enhance collaboration by facilitating communication between teams and support functions to drive execution and timely outcomes.
  • Help maintain strong governance and mitigate risk by proactively identifying issues, supporting remediation, and contributing to a robust control environment.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial records and reporting by supporting reconciliations, data quality checks, and reporting processes.
  • Use digital tools and data analysis techniques to interpret trends, generate insights, and support decision-making for stakeholders.
  • Support financial resource management activities (e.g., tracking spend, headcount, or other resource metrics) and provide structured updates to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to program management and process improvement efforts to increase operational efficiency and standardize best practices.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured materials and present findings and recommendations to managers and business leaders as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in financial services, finance, business management, consulting, audit, or a professional services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear conclusions and actionable insights; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Demonstrated judgment and discretion when working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfort using digital/automation tools for analysis and reporting.
  • Proactive mindset with intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Progress toward or completion of professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) or other finance credentials.
  • Experience with Alteryx and/or AI/LLM-enabled tools to support automation, analysis, and insight generation.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Mandarin language skills (written and verbal) preferred, alongside English proficiency.
