About the Role

iCapital is looking for a talented Assistant Vice President – Platform Solutions to join the International Platform Solutions team in Lisbon.

The role encompasses supporting multiple projects focused on technical implementation, client integration, while also addressing the technical and operational needs of all platform offerings. Additionally, you will identify and support the development of custom features for new partners, including designing and implementing unique platform workflows.

This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex data workflows. The ideal candidate combines these capabilities with a passion for learning and growth, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Vice President – Platform Solutions, you will concurrently support multiple projects and tasks. These tasks may include:

  • Manage and coordinate small to medium-sized end-to-end projects and participate in larger projects for platform-related initiatives and integrations, from planning through execution and delivery. 
    • Manage and coordinate client meetings, producing status reports and anticipating problems, while establishing a clear communication governance;
    • Gather business and functional requirements and configure platform settings to answer client needs;
    • Lead configurations on the platform to achieve client's business outcomes/Target Operating Model;
    • Coordinate ongoing implementation activities with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are met with excellence.
    • Support and guide the definition of clients' workflows and use cases;
    • Provide support in test cases definition and manage and drive their execution;
  • Learn and support all interfaces on the iCapital platform; develop an in-depth understanding of the platform and proactively identify issues and areas for improvement from a business to technical view.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and tools.

Qualifications

  • Academic and/or professional qualification in Business Management / Finance or related fields
  • Holding a Master's degree is a plus
  • 6+ years of work experience in business integration, project technology implementation 
  • Project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience with technical platform integration in the Financial Services industry
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to produce detailed project documentation to drive successful development.
  • Experience in analyzing system workflows and business process flow is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage fast-paced projects and different client stakeholders with attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and a high degree of accountability
  • Ability to quickly learn new business operations, processes, and procedures
  • Demonstrate initiative, passion, willingness to roll up one's sleeves, get the job done, and a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are a must. Sound written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese are a plus and knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office three days, with the flexibility to work remotely two days. Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
