The International Service Engineers for Heat & Gas Systems will provide technical service on PureSOx Exhaust Gas Cleaning installations, as well as on Smit LNG and other Inert Gas Systems. Main responsibilities includes:
Execute international and local field service jobs within the Heat & Gas Systems portfolio that are requested through the International Marine Service Desk;
Perform troubleshooting, to solve the customer’s problem, with full autonomy within the job scope on board of vessels in the requested port; if needed, sail with a vessel until the problem is solved;
Change components, upgrade equipment and control systems, perform re-commissioning, perform safety checks and adjustments, and advise and coach customers and crew in product usage;
Execute Inspections, Condition Audits and Sensor Exchange;
Consult if needed Global Technical Specilalists before, during and after the field service;
Build relations to customers and crew;
Report and document performed field service as per guidelines;
Pick-up and bring bookings, VISAs, permits, spare parts, equipment etc. needed to perform the field service;
Work together with other International Marine Service Organization members as a team, and act as a technical support backup to Global Technical Specialists and Global Coordinators if so required; use and support the ISE network pro-actively, share findings with colleagues;
Travel to execute marine service jobs, participate in trainings, team meetings etc., primarily in the own region (Asia) but also globally when needed.
