Drive international business development across key feeder markets (US, GCC, UK, Europe, Asia)

Proactively position the hotel within luxury travel networks and consortia

Contribute directly to revenue growth through strategic account development and market penetration

of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
  • Drive and achieve sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of international accounts including luxury travel advisors, tour operators, consortia partners, and strategic clients
  • Establish parameters, quote and negotiate prices, confirming by written contracts
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to ensure rate integrity, market positioning, and optimal pricing strategies across international segments
  • Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas participating in tradeshows, conventions, sales blitz and promotional events within the hotel and trade related organizations
  • Plan and execute targeted sales trips in key markets to generate qualified leads and business opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and geopolitical factors impacting international demands
  • Nurture to maintain key accounts, contact, activity and business details within the appropriate software applications
  • Closely follows up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required
  • Conduct competitor surveys and recommend strategies based on market intelligence.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Responsible for key account management on an assigned geographic area, ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor set.
  • Developing new accounts in the growing markets
  • Lead and organized assigned site inspections
  • Detailed knowledge of all services provided by the hotel and all relevant fact and figures
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs

KPI

  • Revenue contribution from assigned international markets
  • Number of new accounts activated
  • Conversion rate of leads to confirmed business
  • Market share growth in targeted regions
  • ROI on sales trips and trade show participation

Qualifications

  • Strong international sales experience within luxury hospitality or travel industry
  • Proven track record in developing new markets and generating revenue
  • Experience with luxury consortia
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
  • Strong commercial mindset with revenue driven approach
  • Fluency in English and French; additional languages are an asset.
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Act as an ambassador of the hotel internationally, ensuring consistent brand positioning across all markets
