
Garrett is developing a new oil-less electric refrigeration compressor. Inverter driven compressor requires significant testing and validation process. Main areas of validation are validation of electrical components and validation of mechanical part of the compressor. Requirements defined by customers and in standards need to be verified by testing. To be able to confirm compliance of the product it is necessary to:
Review and summarize test requirements
Specify equipment needed for the test
Prepare test instructions
Communicate with external or internal laboratory
Witness the test and support
Review the test results
Update existing tools and create new one
Desirable BACKGROUND
Student in last year (of Masters) of electrical engineering or thermodynamics
Hands of experience in the areas of sensing and control engineering is an advantage
Experience with Office Suite
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English (At least technical English level)
Duration: minimum 6 months
