GVA Search is partnering with a globally recognised FMCG leader, who is seeking a dynamic and experienced International Finance Manager to join our global finance function. This role is critical in managing the financial operations across our international markets, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies, and driving financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of international finance, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for international markets. Provide insightful analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for international operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Monitor financial performance against targets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to achieve financial goals. Conduct financial reviews and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks in international operations. Develop and implement robust financial controls and compliance processes.
• Support and lead strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, new market entries, and major capital investments. Conduct financial due diligence and feasibility studies.
• Partner with regional finance teams, commercial teams, and other key stakeholders to support business objectives and drive financial performance. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across regions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory reporting, and corporate governance requirements. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Commercial Finance Manager, preferably with experience gained in either; Food and Beverage, Food Manufacturing or Retail.

This role would suit an experienced Financial Manager who has previously managed cross-functional teams and who has a natural flair to drive change and process improvements. We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and financial regulations. Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting in a multinational environment.
