Job Description

Your Tasks

  • Development and implementation of the international social media and content strategy for MediaMarkt across 11 countries in close alignment with Brand Strategy, International Campaigning, and local marketing teams
  • Translation of customer, brand, and performance insights into creative, digital-first content ideas and always-on formats to strengthen brand relevance and support commercial priorities
  • Creation and orchestration of scalable content concepts, toolkits, and guidelines enabling local markets to execute consistent yet locally relevant social media and content activities
  • Steering and briefing of internal and external creative partners (e.g., agencies, production partners) and ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and on-time delivery of assets across all relevant channels and touchpoints
  • Monitoring and analysis of performance across platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant channels), derivation of clear recommendations, and continuous optimization of content and formats based on data insights
  • Function as central point of contact for international social media and content topics, fostering best-practice sharing, knowledge transfer, and cross-country collaboration

Your Profile

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in social media, content marketing, or digital brand communication, ideally within an international or multi-market environment
  • Proven expertise in the development and execution of creative, digital-first social media and content strategies (including always-on and campaign formats)
  • Strong ability to translate international brand and business priorities into clear, actionable social media and content plans
  • Very good understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram), including their algorithms, advertising formats, and content best practices
  • Strong proficiency in the use of social media and analytics tools (including social listening tools and performance dashboards)
  • Experience in briefing, steering, and evaluating creative and production agencies
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills within an international matrix organization involving multiple stakeholders
  • High integration capability to embed social media and content into overarching campaigns and the omnichannel customer journey
  • Cultural awareness and experience working in an international environment

About Us

Imtron is the division of MediaMarktSaturn responsible for the four own brands ok., KOENIC, ISY and PEAQ. Its key functions are procurement, marketing, product management, sales and logistics.

The International Campaigning department of MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group conceptualizes and coordinates global marketing framework campaigns in collaboration with the MMS lead agency. The team develops fully scalable assets for online and offline media in order to meet the requirements of the MMS brands and countries.
