Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Manage the complete inbound expatriate lifecycle for APAC region, covering assignment initiation, remuneration, compliance, Expat payroll input, coordination with Country Payroll team. End-to-end expatriate support while coordinating directly with Base Location HR & payroll team, Immigration Vendors, tax vendors, and local Authorities.

Key Responsibilities – Service Center (IAC)

Assignment Setup & Consulting

• Infor Visit,

• Assignment briefing and data collection

• Contract preparation and contract letter preparation

• Remuneration preparation

• Sequential assignment handling

• Training support (language & intercultural)

Compliance, Tax & Social Security

• Exit & Entry tax meetings – coordination with tax vendor

• Social security application (as applicable)

Visa, Immigration & Documentation

• Guiding Employee to apply for right category of work permit/Visa.

• Collection of documents for visa / work permit

• Verification of visa documentation

• Document handling and translation

• Review of Local language lease agreements and guidance to expat

• Registration in host country

Relocation & Insurance

• Relocation services (flight booking, household goods move, etc.)

• Global insurance for Assignee’s– new enrollment, extension and shortening

• Support with bank account opening in the Host Country by coordinating with Host HR team (post work permit)

Compensation, Expenses & Extensions

• Expenses & reimbursement management

• Salary Review & Bonus Calculation for the Assignee’s and then prepare the letters

• Monthly/ One time Allowance payments (as applicable)

• Initiation of work permit extensions

• Repatriation Process

• Cancellation /surrender of Visa/work permit (as applicable)

Key Coordination Inputs – between Receiving Country & Sending Country

• Assignment consulting and determining type of assignment

• Initiation of assignment

• Analysis of social security coverage

• Consulate relations

• Coordination with work council

• Tax coordination

• On boarding process

• IT system updates (Employee Central & HR Core)

• Nationalization

• Repatriation consulting

• Registration in host country


Additional Recurring Monthly Activities for Assignee’s

• Input school invoices, allowances and salary details

• Input social security values for tax calculation

• Input overtime, air freight, logistics and repatriation allowances

• Prepare wage-type-based inputs as per assignment type

• Name and store payroll documents correctly

• Update wage tax information based on invoices per-approved by TH team

• Update employer social security amount and wage type from home-country invoices

• Update wage type for cargo storage & logistics invoices received from TH team

• Update Overtime calculations and wage type for expats

• Check and file invoices (PDF) correctly as per the issued document

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Masters in business administration (MBA)

Experience :

10 Year’s experience in End-to-end Inbound Expatriate Lifecycle Management.
