Internal Sales Representative - Randburg (Gauteng) - Salary R15 000 to R18 000 + comms

About the Role

Join a growing sales team at a company with over 25 years of experience in industrial automation and instrumentation. You'll help support and grow our customer base across South Africa and into Africa.

We're looking for someone proactive, independent, and adaptable, who thrives in a fast-paced office environment. You'll work closely with the sales manager and support external sales reps.

What You'll Do

• Handle customer inquiries and sales support

• Provide product info, quotes, invoices, and sales reports

• Work with other departments to deliver solutions

• Keep customers updated and follow up on leads

• Help grow the client base by researching new opportunities

• Stay up to date on products and complete required training

What You Need

• At least 3 years of sales experience in industrial automation or a related field

• Technical understanding of products like:

  • Industrial computing, serial communication, wireless networking, IP surveillance

  • Smart grid, renewable energy, and power distribution

  • PoE-based and IT/networking solutions

• Diploma or certificate in IT, Networking, Engineering, or related fields

• Solid Microsoft Office skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Valid South African ID
