Job Description

Due to exciting business growth, we are seeking an Internal Sales Person to join the team in Welshpool focusing on delivering exceptional service to our customers and the market. This role will see you responding to inbound sales calls, emails, and occasional counter sales requirements to meet internal and external customer needs in the pursuit of effective customer service.

Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Managing sales enquiries within our branch via phone and email
• Processing customer orders, quotes and manage customer interactions end to end
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and order updates
• Communicate clearly with internal departments to ensure smooth job flow
• Keep all stakeholders informed of job progress, changes, and timelines
• Process quotes and orders in a timely manner
• Providing product-based information and cross-selling products where required

What you will need to succeed:

• Sales experience, Customer Service or Sales Support position
• Experience working within the mining, industrial, manufacturing, engineering or related sectors
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Computer experience is essential specifically Windows PC knowledge
• Ability to multi-task and focus on completion of allocated tasks
• Outstanding customer service skills with great time management skills
• Experience with industrial products such as lifting and rigging, trade products is preferred but not essential as extensive training is available
