THE ROLE
The role offers ahands-onexposure to how an international asset manager develops client relationships, positions investment strategies, and drives business growth across Iberia. The work that you do will be interesting and varied.This role will directly support business growth across Spain and Portugal by turning market insights into actionable sales strategies, strengthening how investment solutions are positioned, and helping deliver targeted marketing campaigns that deepen client engagement and drive new opportunities.
The internship will commence in September 2026 and will last for 3 months with the possibility to extend based on business needs
This is a part-time role
Hours: Monday-Friday | 9am-1pm
In-person days: Monday-Thursday
Remote day: Friday
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Conduct basic market, client, and prospect research to helpidentifytrends, service opportunities, and potential areas of focus for the team.
Learnsabout MFS products, the financial services industry, and the role of Retail Internal Sales in supporting client relationships and business development.
Partner with the sales team to support business planning, including sales channel reporting and analysis of the fund distribution landscape across Spain and Portugal
Develop insights from market, client, and competitor data toidentifytrends and support sales strategy decisions
Collaborate with product and sales teams to understand investment solutions and help position them effectively with clients
Support the creation of compelling messaging that clearly communicates product capabilities and value propositions
Work closely with marketing to develop campaigns and strategic collateral that resonates with target clients
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance client engagement and support overall business growth
Complete a project focused on territory insights, customer relationship management system improvements, or sales support opportunities and presents findings to the team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Currently enrolled in a university degree with strong academic results
Interestin financial services, asset management, sales, client service, or business development.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Proactive approach with a sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and ask thoughtful questions.
Language skills:
-Native Spanish (required)
-Fluent English (required)
-Portuguese (preferred)
