Job Purpose

To provide end-to-end operational, administrative, and sales support across the business, with a strong focus on internal sales processes and Microsoft licensing administration. The role ensures efficient order processing, licensing compliance, customer support, and accurate data management, while enabling the sales team to operate effectively and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Sales & Operational Support

  • Prepare, process, and manage customer quotations, sales orders, and invoices.

  • Support the sales team with deal processing, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.

  • Validate pricing, margins, and deal structures in line with company policies.

  • Track order progress from initiation through to submission.

Microsoft Licensing Administration

  • Manage Microsoft license provisioning, renewals, upgrades, and cancellations.

  • Support sales teams with Microsoft licensing solutions, including CSP, NCE, and other agreements.

  • Maintain and manage subscriptions via Microsoft Partner Center.

  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft licensing terms, policies, and audit requirements.

Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customer queries.

  • Provide accurate information on products, pricing, licensing, and order statuses.

  • Resolve service-related queries efficiently.

  • Be able to liaise with vendors, distributors, and Microsoft for escalations and support.

Order, Subscription & Process Management

  • Maintain accurate records of customer orders, contracts, and licensing assets.

  • Monitor subscription lifecycles, including renewals, expirations, and usage.

  • Coordinate with billing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.

  • Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM, Quoting and Partner Center systems.

  • Generate reports on sales performance, licensing usage, renewals, and revenue.

  • Track key metrics such as renewal pipelines, order turnaround times, and customer activity.

  • Support reconciliation between sales, licensing, and billing systems.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all transactions adhere to internal policies and Microsoft licensing requirements.

  • Maintain documentation for audits, agreements, and operational processes.

  • Support internal audits and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong administrative and operational coordination skills

  • Solid understanding of internal sales processes and deal lifecycle

  • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models (CSP, NCE, EA)

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Partner Center (essential)

  • Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing knowledge

  • CRM systems

  • Microsoft Excel (reporting, tracking, reconciliation)

  • Familiarity with digital workflows and document management systems

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Sales, or IT (advantageous)

  • 3–5 years’ experience in:

  • Internal sales / sales administration

  • Microsoft licensing support

  • Order processing and customer account management

  • Experience working within a Microsoft partner or reseller environment is highly advantageous

  • Customer query resolution time and satisfaction levels

  • Renewal management and retention rates

  • Compliance with Microsoft and internal policies

  • Data integrity across CRM, Partner Center, and billing systems
