About the role
Do you enjoy a balance of office work and hands-on operations servicing customer’s?
Due to an internal promotion, the Warringah Timbers team is on the lookout for a reliable and flexible team player to join us as an Inside Sales team member on a full-time basis.
This role operates a full time hour week across Monday to Friday (with occasional half Saturdays). You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from responding to phone enquiries, organising deliveries, processing customer orders, preparing quotes and processing customer transactions in store.
You will need to complete a medical assessment prior to starting with Warringah Timbers.
What you will be doing:
Creating Orders for customers
Purchase orders
Responding to customer enquiries and taking special orders
Preparing accurate quotes and organising delivery schedules
Engaging customers on the phone or via email to drive sales
Managing daily administrative tasks for Trade Account Managers
Providing in-store customer assistance
What you will bring:
A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
Timber and hardware knowledge is an advantage but not essential
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a sense of urgency
