We are on the lookout for a Internal Movements Coordinatorbased in Melbourne to join our national Talent Acquisition Team working across the Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland Portfolio.


As a Internal Movements Coordinator , you will be responsible for managing the internal workforce movements, staff redeployment, and shift allocation across multiple sites. You will ensure employees awaiting reassignment or on makeup pay are effectively placed, supporting succession planning and maintain optimal operation staffing levels.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaise with the Talent Acquisition team to engage employees to vacancies in the portfolio and manage expectations throughout the interview process.

  • Oversee employees removed from the sites, ensuring timely redeployment or reassignment.

  • Track and engage employees awaiting assignments, keeping them informed and motivated during downtime.

  • Monitor staff on makeup pay and coordinate additional shift opportunities to maximise work allocation.

  • Support internal succession planning by identifying high-potential talent and aligning them with suitable opportunities

About you:

If you are someone who has previous experience in workforce coordination, HR operations, or rostering management and thrive on building impactful relationships this role is for you. What we are looking for is:

  • Full Australian Working Rights

  • Verifiable experience working in a high-volume, results-focused environment

  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to engage and build relationships with diverse employees and stakeholder

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites and department

  • Experience in using ATS or HRIS will be beneficial (Workday would be a plus!)

  • Willing to undergo a National police check
