Job Description

POSITION: Internal IT Administrator
LOCATION: Midrand
REPORTING TO: IT Manager


To be responsible for the control of internal IT assets, Biometric access system control.

The applicant must show the following qualities: consistency, trustworthy, dependable

and must be deadline driven.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
IT Responsibilities   
  • Keeping track of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses, and ensuring that they are used effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies related to data privacy, security, and access
  • Managing relationships with IT vendors, including negotiating and renewing contracts, evaluating, and procuring new technologies, and resolving issues
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of IT systems and processes, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user guides
  • Collaborating with other IT staff and departments to ensure smooth functioning of IT services and projects
  • Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
  • Coordinate and manage monthly application back and restore testing
  • Assist in preparing and continuous verification of IT disaster recovery and continuity plan
  • Perform various monthly reconciliations on Active Directory users and endpoint control
  • Assisting Group IT manager with Audit evidence for all internal and external IT audits including ISO audits and POPIA compliancy.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Qualification:       
Minimum Qualification:
  • Matric Certificate
  • IT Diploma

Relevant Experience: 1 – 3 years’ experience
Relevant Experience Areas:
  • Finance knowledge and background will be advantageous
  • Must have good MS Excel skills – minimum intermediate level certification
