About the Role

Responsible for managing Internal Control, compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support business decision-making.

Please be informed, it is a contract-based.

In summary, you'll:

Maintain Internal Controls

• Establish approval matrices and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Ensure controls are embedded in business processes.

Risk Assessment and Monitoring

• Identify operational, financial, compliance, and fraud risks.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls.
• Recommend risk mitigation actions.

Financial Control and Compliance

• Review financial processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance with frameworks such as global frameworks or local regulations.

Fraud Prevention and Detection

• Monitor for unusual transactions and control breaches.
• Investigate potential fraud or misconduct cases.
• Promote ethical business practices and control awareness.

Policy Governance

• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies.
• Provide training on internal control requirements.

Reporting and Management Communication

• Report control deficiencies to management.
• Track remediation progress.
• Present risk and control assessments to leadership.
