Job Description

Function

Reporting Relationship: This role reports to the Director of Communications and supports internal communication strategy through execution and content leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communication:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day manager of the intranet and internal digital communications, supporting content strategy and direction set by the Director of Communications.
  • Write, edit, publish, and manage intranet content, internal announcements, employee memos, and leadership communications.
  • Implement internal communication plans and initiatives that inform, engage, and align employees with Citadel’s organizational priorities.
  • Partner with senior leaders and internal teams to gather, shape, and deliver clear, timely employee communications.
  • Support the planning and coordination of virtual and in-person employee town halls, leadership meetings, and internal events.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various internal teams to execute intranet content plans and internal communication initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure internal communications are clear, consistent, and employee-focused.
  • Gather employee feedback and intranet usage insights to support continuous improvement of internal communications.

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in internal or corporate communications.
  • Hands-on experience managing intranet or internal websites using a content management system, with responsibility for day-to-day content execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on internal and digital writing.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible employee communications.
  • Ability to think creatively while executing within established communication strategies.
  • Genuine desire to collaborate with internal teams and partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, promote integrity, and support the corporate mission.
