Who You Are

We’re looking for an Internal Communications Senior Consultant who thrives on planning, building relationships and delivering creative content. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys taking on substantial pieces of work, shaping them independently, and returning with clear, well‑considered recommendations. You won’t be given step‑by‑step direction; you’ll be a trusted to take on delegated work, quickly understand the brief, and deliver confidently with minimal guidance.

You’ll report to the Head of Communications and work within a flat, collaborative team where contribution from everyone is valued. Do you offer:

  • Considerable experience in internal communications or employee engagement.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills across multiple formats.
  • A proven ability to turn complex or technical information into clear, accessible messages.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, balancing priorities and deadlines independently.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading development and delivery of internal campaigns.
  • Managing core channels including newsletters, intranet and leadership briefs.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders to align messaging.
  • Monitoring engagement metrics and improving reach and impact.
  • Supporting major staff events and organisational change communications.

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a salary between £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days and more.

At EDF, we believe there are many ways to succeed. That’s why we give you the freedom to build a career that’s unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it’s your journey, powered by us.
