General Information

We are seeking an experienced Internal Control Specialist to strengthen our contract governance, IT risk management, and internal control environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, IT, and senior management to ensure compliance, improve processes, and support audit readiness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal control frameworks specifically addressing contract lifecycle management, including contract creation, review, approval, execution, and renewal processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Business Units to ensure contracts comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with contract management and execution.
• Perform regular reviews and audits of contract management practices and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on contract-related controls, risks, and best practices.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of contract management controls to senior management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contract management efficiency and controls.
• Assist in investigations of contract irregularities or breaches and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Law, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in internal controls, contract management, IT audit, compliance, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and IT risk management principles.
• Experience with IT control systems, IT risk assessments, and contract lifecycle processes.
• Ability to evaluate IT systems, processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating with IT units, supporting audits, and preparing audit evidence and reports.
• Familiarity with contract management tools, SAP, and strong MS Office skills.
• Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CISSP, CRMP, or similar) are a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent English; German skills are beneficial.
• Comfortable working in multinational or regulated environments and supporting IT or project‑related audits.
