Your Role
We are seeking an Internal Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of tail-end customers within an assigned BES territory / BSP industry. This role focuses on remote account management, sales development, and lead generation to maximise sales and profitability across bronze, low‑potential, and selected customer segments.
Manage, develop, and maintain assigned customer accounts remotely to maximise sales and profit
Identify opportunities within existing accounts and support lead generation activities
Develop business across bronze and selected customers through range selling, cross-selling, and value-based pricing
Execute remote sales activities, including preparing proposals, coordinating and negotiating with customers, closing deals, and responding to RFQs
Identify high-potential accounts and define strategies to convert prospects into customers
Identify, prioritise, and proactively contact prospective customers
Manage customer-related initiatives and projects as required
Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and complete all relevant sales reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective customer service and delivery
Your Profile
Experience in internal sales, account management, or customer-focused roles
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customers remotely
Commercially minded with a focus on sales growth and profitability
Well organised with strong attention to detail and CRM usage
Experience in water treatment, industrial services, or technical sales is desirable but not essential
Location: Leeds
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Working pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
