Internal Account Manager

As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join the EMS T1 and Strategic Accounts Sales Office based in Budapest.

Internal Account Manager

Work arrangement: hybrid role

What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?

  • Manage a portfolio of 1–3 large strategic accounts, plus mid-size accounts, consistently meeting sales targets

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans with clear performance objectives, financial targets and key milestones

  • Build deep understanding of customer needs and decision-making structures to proactively identify and validate opportunities

  • Sell value-added, long-term solutions leveraging Arrow's supply chain and design capabilities to grow profit and maximise margins

  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key accounts

  • Provide accurate quotes and ensure smooth order processing and delivery

  • Partner with Global Commodity Management to gather and share market intelligence on customers, trends and supply/demand dynamics

  • Build strategic sales proposals using pricing input from Global Procurement teams and secure supply inventory based on market conditions

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Purchasing, Engineering and external partners to resolve customer issues and deliver best-in-class support

  • Serve as the first point of escalation for customer concerns

What Are We Looking For?

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in electronic components industry

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

  • Works independently; with minimal guidance

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

  • Contributes to process improvements

  • Typically resolves problems using existing solutions

  • Provides informal guidance to junior staff

  • Fluent English (verbal and written)

  • Good communication, sales personality

  • Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
