Job Description

The intern will support lead generation through field and digital marketing campaigns, assist with the preparation of marketing materials, and track campaign performance using CRM tools or Excel. The role also involves creating B2B digital content, translating technical concepts into customer‑centric messaging, conducting market research, and supporting ad‑hoc marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting lead generation via planning and execution of field marketing and digital campaigns (events, EDMs, newsletters)
2. Assist in preparing product marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and logistics for campaigns
3. Tracking and reporting of campaign performance and RoI with CRM tools or Excel, ensuring all info is up-to-date
4. Develop B2B-focused content for LinkedIn and other digital channels, including copywriting, creation and design aligned with brand guidelines
5. Able to translate technical/scientific concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging
6. Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities
7. Other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Year 2-4 local undergraduate students in either:
  • Degree in Business/Marketing with an interest in the scientific field; or
  • Science/Engineering (e.g., Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical, Engineering) with an interest in marketing
• Able to commit for 6 months (credit or non-credit bearing)

Skills and/or Knowledge required:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
2. Basic knowledge on various marketing channels and how they work
3. Basic understanding in design tools e.g. Canva, with a good eye for design
4. Good to have an interest/background in scientific or technical products, and/or exposure to lab workflows and scientific solutions industry
5. Independent learner with ability to work in a team environment
6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
8. Proactive and eager to learn with attention to detail and a sense of ownership
9. Creative and able to contribute new ideas to the team
