Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Infrastructure team. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise-grade compute platforms and operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support day-to-day operations, assist in troubleshooting, and contribute to automation and optimization initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining compute infrastructure (on-premises and cloud environments).
• Support installation, configuration, and patching of Windows Server and Red Hat Linux systems.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
• Document standard operating procedures and contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Help manage virtual machines and cloud resources as part of hybrid infrastructure environments
• Perform basic performance and capacity analysis for VMWare, Storages, and system logs.
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Nagios, or similar) a plus
• Knowledge of Active Directory Services, Certificate Authority and basic networking concepts.
• Good understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. Microsoft Azure , Amazon Web Services or similar)
• Exposure to ITSM platforms like ServiceNow a plus
• Understanding of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible,
• Terraform).

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student
• Internship must contribute to school graduation requirements
• Minimum commitment of 6 months

Experience

• No experience required as training will be provided

Other Prerequisites

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn & develop
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Well organized and pro-active, with attention to detail
• Possess effective documentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical skills preferred
