The TxDOT Support Services Division is seeking an intern to assist with supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a good work ethic, posses the ability to follow directions, and an eagerness to learn. Daily tasks performed in this role will include assisting with data entry, filing, maintenance of office supplies, schedule management, interoffice correspondence, and other administrative projects. Performs entry-level administrative support work. Work involves performing a wide range of administrative and office support work for the department. Employees at this level perform assignments following specific instructions and are subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor.
Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution.
Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
Employees at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license may be assigned driving duties and may use power tools.
Preferred experience in utilizing Microsoft programs.
