Intern - Supply Chain will support Supply Chain and Program Management processes including procurement activities, logistics operations, inventory management, vendor relationship management, and SAP system implementation and optimization across the site. Assist with process improvements, system configuration support, data management, and cross-functional project initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and ensure successful SAP deployment. This opportunity will last for approximately 8 months.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAP Implementation & System Support:

  • Support SAP system navigation training and process documentation
  • Assist in data migration activities and data quality validation
  • Execute system test cases for supply chain and procurement modules
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and document issues/findings
  • Support end-user training coordination and material preparation
  • Help maintain master data including materials, vendors, and customer information
  • Assist with process gap analysis and requirements documentation
  • Support system configuration activities and change request documentation
  • Prepare system procedure guides and quick reference materials
  • Track and coordinate SAP-related process improvement initiatives
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Procurement & Vendor Management:

  • Support purchase requisition creation and submission processes in SAP and legacy systems.
  • Assist in gathering vendor quotes and preparing comparison documentation
  • Help maintain and update vendor master data in SAP
  • Support vendor on-boarding activities and documentation collection
  • Assist in purchase order (PO) creation, review, and distribution
  • Prepare and organize procurement documentation and archives
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Inventory & Materials Management:

  • Support stock movement documentation and material transaction processing
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records in SAP
  • Monitor inventory levels and support reorder point management
  • Assist in identifying and flagging excess or obsolete inventory
  • Prepare inventory reports and analysis to support management decisions

EH&S:

  • Support company policy and applicable regulations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Student enrolled in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Materials Management or related program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage data and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Sound knowledge of food/pharmaceutical environment
