Sysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations. Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.
Responsibilities:
Designingscalable,robustand cost-effective solutions, in collaborationwiththe senior engineering staff
Implementingsolutions based on the design, adhering to engineering best practices,Continuous Integration andContinuous Delivery
Writingunit, integration, and functional tests for the solutions
Workingcollaboratively in a cross functional team environment
Adheringto DevOps principles andbeinginvolvedwith projectsduringtheir full software lifecycle from development, QA, and deployment
Requirements:
SoundknowledgeofObject OrientedProgramming using Java
Sound knowledgeofthe fundamentals of JavaScript
A basic workingproficiencyofRDBMS technology
KnowledgeofNodeJSwould be an added advantage
