Job Description

As a Simulation Intern, you will support product development and validation through waterproof and impact testing of hearing aids and components, analysing test data, and correlating results with CFD and mechanical simulations. You will also contribute to simulation methodology development while collaborating with cross-functional teams on innovative engineering projects.

What you will do

  • Conduct waterproof testing on parts and hearing aids using contact angle goniometer or sweat dripping setups; correlate results with CFD Volume-of-Fluid simulations
  • Conduct hearing aid impact testing using Pendulum or Heina Drop Testers for product design validation; correlate results with mechanical simulations
  • Support forefront simulation methodology and validation projects, including material characterisation.

What you bring

  • Currently an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with simulation and CAD tools, as well as Vibe Coding tools
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Passion for creating positive impact through technology in assistive technology or the medical device industry is an advantage.
