Your area of work
As an intern - Sales Operations (f/m/d) within the Eurex Americas Sales team you will have an excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. The Sales Americas team is Eurex’s face to the financial industry to promote current and future trading and clearing services. Sales Operations is the backbone of the Sales Team. Our goal is to build strong relationships with our existing and new clearing members, their clients and associated industry bodies. To understand their needs and the impacts of developments in the market enables us to grow and expand our services to increase the attractiveness of our portfolio with the goal to expand our role as the leading provider in Europe of exchange traded and central counterparty services.

Your responsibilities

  • Generate and distribute regular sales reports, providing insights to the sales team
  • Analyze and evaluate product performance
  • Track sales activity, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and ensure data quality
  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and strategic initiatives
  • Act as a central support contact for the sales team, assisting with administrative tasks
  • Process sales leads, compile lead lists, and delegate them to the appropriate sales team members
  • Support on organization of sales events

Your profile

  • You are enrolled at a state-recognized US-university during the entire internship period (study focus in economics, business, finance, or related fields)
  • Ideally, you have gained some practical experience (e.g., as a working student) in finance or data analysis
  • You have a strong interest in financial markets and derivatives trading
  • You bring a high affinity for numbers and strong analytical skills as well as a cooperative mindset and ability to integrate quickly into a team
  • You already have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), programming skills (Python, SQL, VBA) are a plus
