Job Description

CARE is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) with operations in over 100 countries, dedicated to creating local solutions to poverty and inequality. Our mission is to seek dignity for everyone every day, including during times of crisis. Our work spans a broad range of areas, from disaster response and food and nutrition programs to education and empowerment initiatives for women and girls, as well as maternal and child health. SCOPE OF WORK

CARE is looking for an Intern who will support the Resilient Futures strategy and team through the development of key knowledge products for both internal and external audiences. External events, both virtual and in person if relevant, will be identified for the intern to attend for educational and networking purposes.

  • Support project management of inclusive carbon projects and advancing eco Savings Group models.
  • Support scaling of our resilient futures agenda around scaling eco savings groups and unlocking climate finance for last mile communities.
  • Finalize Eco Savings Groups donor pitches and educational materials.
  • Understand how international climate finance can serve marginalized populations.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Microsoft Office proficient: Word, Excel

DESIRED TIMING

  • The internship will run for 3 to 4 months. The intern will work part-time.
