Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating equipment maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance and safety.

• Support project engineers in managing Capex/Opex maintenance-related projects, including scheduling and resource tracking.

• Aid in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades, relocations, and new installations.

• Follow up on maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to internal standards.

• Help ensure regulatory and safety compliance for all equipment and layout modifications.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S, and 3P projects.

• Manage and update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including work order closure and data tracking (training provided).

• Assist in vendor coordination, quotations follow-up, and other supplier-related engagements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a diploma or university program in an engineering discipline (mechanical, industrial, Project management, Facilities or a related field).

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Access, Excel, and Word.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Available for a minimum internship period of 4-6 months

• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical data interpretation is a plus

Learning Outcome

• A deep understanding of equipment maintenance processes and best practices.

• Exposure to Capex/Opex planning, project execution, and vendor management.

• Hands-on experience with technical systems, repair processes, and troubleshooting.

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and process layouts.

• Participation in real-life continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.

• Practical knowledge of safety, compliance, and regulatory standards in industrial settings
