Job Title: Intern - Real Estate Analyst

Reports to: Real Estate Team

Direct Reports: None

Department: Real Estate

Location: Newport Beach, CA

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Position Status: Temporary/Part-Time

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PT

Base Salary: $16.90 per hour

Travel: None

Westport Properties is seeking a dynamic and energetic intern to join our growing organization summer internship program. This role is responsible for supporting Westport's Real Estate Team, which includes functions for business development, finance, and asset management. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is creatively and analytically inclined with proven problem-solving capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative duties such as document preparation and digital file organization
  • Conduct market research using various real estate analytics tools.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Support the Real Estate Team in its day-to-day operations.
  • Be familiar with basic financial and/or real estate terms.

Qualifications Required

  • Must be a current Santa Ana College student working towards a degree or certificate program at SAC or graduated within the last 6 months.
  • Completed at least 12 units and 3 core classes in a related field.

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Some college preferred (ideally pursuing a degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field)

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be teachable and curious.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize shifting timelines.
  • Familiarity with AI is preferred.
