THE OPPORTUNITY
Intern R&D, 100%
You are responsible for performing projects for proteomics research and development. You will contribute to the development of innovative proteomics sample preparation solutions that are applied to biomedical research. Further, you acquire data using our state-of-the-art LC-MS facility equipped with most recent generations of high-end instruments. You will analyze proteomics data, present it in our company and make decisions based on it. You will help to improve the proteomics solutions of Biognosys and contribute to the newest development in proteomics field.
This internship is intended to last for 12 months.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of novel proteomics workflows
- Analysis of proteomic data in R
- Contribution to and collaboration with the R&D team
- Planning, execution of scientific work
- Presentation of scientific work on within the team
- Diligent, independent, and responsible working style
YOUR PROFILE
- Education and good experience in proteomics, mass spectrometry, biochemistry
- Hands on experience with biochemical laboratory work
- Scripting and coding capabilities in R
- You like to work in an interdisciplinary environment, exchange knowledge and work in a team
- You have an autonomous and responsible working style
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Industry experience is a plus
