Intern quantitative for the Investment Mangement Industry - on site - full time

Our Investment Management Reporting (IM) services department is specialized in the design, implementation, operation and production of various institutional investors and regulatory reporting for our IM clients.

We are looking for our new trainee to join the team.

Your contribution to our success

• Support a dynamic and evolving client servicing department by implementing IT-oriented solutions and enhancing the internal reporting system.
• Stay updated on the latest coding developments to innovate and improve business processes.

IT DEVELOPPEMENT

• Write and maintain efficient Python code for data analysis, model development, and library creation, with a focus on reliability through unit testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with the project team to assess development initiatives while meeting deadlines and industry standards.

TEAM ASSISTANCE AND INNOVATION

• Provide technical support and training to enhance team performance, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Optimize code and develop tactical systems to improve efficiency and work quality.
  

Your skills

• Be enrolled in a master’s degree in mathematics/statistics
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code optimization
• Soft skills :
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Be rigorous, quality driven, result-oriented with excellent analytical and synthetic skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously as well as be part of a team
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and experience with libraries such as :
  • NumPy, pandas, and SciPy
  • Proven IT skills and excellent knowledge of Python, SQL, any other IT language is an asset
• Fluent in English. French or German are considered as an asset
