Job Description

Position Summary

An intern in this position will have a chance to learn and touch upon several different fields of expertise: Conformity, Calibration, Quality and Environmental Conformity.

Responsibilities

  • Technology watch and monitoring regulatory & normative changes for Conformity, Env. Compliance and Quality
  • Documenting internal calibration procedures for EMC Conformity Lab
  • Assisting with documentation updates for Conformity and Quality
  • Assisting Calibration Lab in reformatting and transferring their documentation to the Corporate system
  • Acting as a team member for the new Training Protocol project: coordinate the documentation analysis and certain re-writes, with the supervision from team leaders
  • Review/analysis of new Conformity standards (“reading committee” function)
  • Assistance with internal calibration and some non-accredited testing at the EMC lab
  • Spearhead CAPA application improvement project (Quality)
  • Assist in QC investigations

Qualifications

  • University (bachelors level) student in Engineering, preferably Electrical
  • Good computer skills
  • Good organization skills, able to work on several projects in parallel
