The role supports theQuality Control (QC) / Quality functionby observing and assisting in routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meetquality, safety, and regulatory standards. It involves learning and applyingGMP and quality control principles, supporting impurity/contaminant identification, microbiological and stability testing, use of analytical techniques (e.g.,HPLC, spectrophotometry), and contributing to departmental objectives through cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilties
Observe routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to verify compliance with defined quality specifications.
Learn and support activities related to identifying impurities and contaminants to maintain product integrity.
Develop understanding of applicableregulatory requirements, guidelines, and GMPand support their implementation in daily work.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of productquality and safety.
Observe microbiological testing to ensureproduct sterilitywhere applicable.
Build understanding ofquality control principles, methodologies, and documentation practices.
Learn to analyze samples using techniques such asHPLC, spectrophotometry, and other relevant analytical methods.
Support and focus onstability studiesto assess and monitor product shelf life.
Contribute to the implementation ofdepartmental objectives and quality projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, QA, Microbiology, Engineering) for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Education & Skills
Pharmacist / Chemist / Microbiologist / Science undergraduate
Basic understanding ofpharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, microbiology, or related scientific disciplines.
Interest inquality control, laboratory testing, andGMPimplementation.
Willingness to learnanalytical techniques(HPLC, spectrophotometry, microbiological methods).
Awareness ofsafe and organized storage of pharmaceutical products and operations.
Attention to detail, strongdocumentation discipline, and focus on product quality and safety.
Ability to work collaboratively withcross-functional teamsand support departmental projects.
