Job Summary:
Join RailPros as a Project / Program Management Intern and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of rail infrastructure. This internship offers an exceptional chance to gain hands-on experience in project and program management within the civil and rail engineering sectors. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with our project management team, contributing to the successful planning, execution, and completion of various civil projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating project activities to ensure alignment with Program goals, individual project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project plans; prepare regular updates for stakeholders.
Communication: Act as a liaison, facilitating effective communication between project team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow.
Schedule Management: Contribute to developing and maintaining individual project as well as overall program schedules; monitor progress and address any timeline deviations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineers, architects, contractors) to achieve project milestones.
Learning and Development: Utilize this internship to gain insights into civil engineering project management.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in electronic communication (e-mail, text) and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment.
Strong team collaboration skills.
High attention to detail, data trends, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to accuracy.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Required Education and Experience:
Working towards a  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
No prior experience required.

RailPros was founded in 2000 and is exclusively focused on providing rail and transit engineering and construction services. The firm is headquartered in Irving, Texas. We employ more than 1000 rail and transit engineers, construction, inspection, design, and field support staff.
