Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist FAEs with customer integrations of telematics devices into vehicles and equipment.
  • Support configuration and testing of telematics hardware including GPS trackers, asset trackers, and connected vehicle devices.
  • Assist in validating device functionality including GPS performance, cellular connectivity, and sensor inputs.
  • Participate in device testing and help troubleshoot field issues related to device installation, firmware, or connectivity.
  • Assist in creating technical documentation on new features.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • Will be local to the Carlsbad, CA area in Summer 2026
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • Exposure to Python, C/C++, or scripting languages preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Curious and eager to learn about connected vehicle technologies with strong attention to detail
  • Hands-on problem solver and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment

Strong Pluses:

  • Understanding of cellular technologies (LTE, Cat-M1, NB-IoT)
  • Experience with BLE or sensor integrations
  • Familiarity with GPS/GNSS systems
  • Experience using REST APIs or Postman
