Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Product Development Support:

  • Assist the Product Manager in defining product roadmaps and strategies.
  • Document design processes and decisions for future reference and onboarding of new team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design and business goals.
  • Participate in user journey mapping sessions to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development of user personas and scenarios to guide design decisions.
  • Engage in competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify industry best practices and opportunities for differentiation.

Design and Development:

  • Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our mobile applications.
  • Assist in the development of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
  • Support the team in maintaining and updating design systems, ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Create interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts.

User Research and Testing:

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback for improving app designs.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the user experience.
  • Provide support in accessibility testing and ensure that designs meet accessibility standards and guidelines.

Innovation and Trends:

  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
  • Support in the preparation and presentation of design proposals and project updates to stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI related fields or any related field.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking.
  • Strong visual design sense and attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and presentation skills for explaining design concepts.
  • Able to conduct user research, usability testing, and analyse feedback.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and mobile app design best practices.
  • Knowledge of mobile app development and user experience principles is a plus.
