As an Intern Product Manager for Product Access,you'llget hands-on exposure to the licensing services that power every Autodesk product—from desktop software to cloud APIs and AI-driven automation.You'llwork alongside a team of experienced product managers and cross-functional partners to learn how world-class products are discovered, built, and shipped. This internship is designed to give you a real-world foundation in product management within a high-impact, fast-moving platform team.
Product Access is at the heart of Autodesk's business model evolution, enabling new capabilities like API and MCP monetization and granular AI feature access. As an intern,you'llcontribute meaningfully to this mission by supporting product research, contributing to requirements,participatingin team rituals, and developing your PM skills in an environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. You Will:
Seekand apply feedback from your manager and team to continuously develop your product management skills
Explore and experiment with emerging PM practices shaped by AI, including AI-assisted user research synthesis, automated metric monitoring, and prompt-driven competitive analysis—and bring your findings back to the team
Be part of the live evolution of AI-era product management—Product Access is directly enabling new AI monetization and access models at Autodesk, meaningyou'llcontribute to a product that is itself shaping how AI features are delivered and controlled across the company
Actively use AI tools (such as LLMs, AI-assisted research, and automation) as part of your daily PM workflow—exploring how these tools accelerate discovery, synthesis, and decision-making in real time
Monitor existing product metrics and learn how to explain their impact on team objectives
Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and team members to contribute to the delivery of features that meet customer requirements; contribute to Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
Understand product positioning and key Product Access features, and support internal communications by articulating product value and customer workflows to stakeholders
Build foundational knowledge of Product Access services and strive to develop subject matterexpertiseon a defined set of use cases
Participate in customer research activities led by the team to develop understanding of user personas, pain points, and potential solutions within Product Access
Support senior PMs in communicating product updates to stakeholders with clear andtimelywritten and verbal communication
You Have:
Currently pursuing aBachelor'sdegree or equivalent with a graduation date of after December 2026; fields such as computer science,engineering,business, design, or a related discipline.
Strong communicationskills—written and verbal—with the ability to clearly convey information to teammates and stakeholders
Curiosity aboutand familiarity withAI tools and an eagerness to explore how they can make product teams more effective
Analytical mindset with an interest in learning how to synthesize information from multiple sources to inform product decisions
Collaborative team player who is comfortable working across functions with engineers, designers, and business partners
Eagerness to learn modern product discovery and delivery methods
Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward seeking guidance and confirmation beforemaking adjustments
Interest in platform products, developer tooling, licensing, or enterprise SaaS is a plus
About the Canada Intern Program
The 2026 Canada fall program runs for 16 weeks (Sept 1 – Dec 18). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Our internships align with Autodesk’s Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote and hybrid work preferences.
