Intern - Product Control unit (PCU)

(Based at Casualline-Mawathagama)

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the production control unit. This role would enable you to support the team in ensuring that material is secured as per the production plan for every sales order by coordinating with relevant departments, in order to facilitate continuity on the production flow & line and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in tracking raw material availability based on production plans
• Communicate with suppliers and help follow up on material deliveries
• Update internal systems and share basic status updates with the team
• Help coordinate and prepare simple reports for supplier meetings
• Support monitoring of order status and highlight delays or issues
• Participate in daily team meetings and assist with operational updates
• Assist in maintaining proper material usage and minimizing waste
• Support purchase order (PO) creation and basic documentation tasks
• Help ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and suppliers

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Production/ Manufacturing/ Operations or any other related field / equivalent professional qualification
• Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset
• Strong communication and leadership skills
