Bombardier Eco demonstrator. This program is a collaborative technology demonstration program aiming to bring to maturity key technologies to enable a step change in reduction of aviation environmental impact. This includes unconventional configuration for business jet and UAV applications, and next generation of systems integration and simulation. Supporting the Eco demonstrator, you will join the Fly-By-Wire (FBW) team, more specifically the Research & Development group on the T602 project with focus on critical aircraft control architecture aspects and new FBW system. Our team oversees the Flight-By-Wire (FBW) system on the Global 7500 platform and, as well, secondary flight controls (Wing High Lift, Spoiler) on all other Bombardier platform (G7500, G5/6000, Challenger (350/650)). In addition to in-service issue investigations and leading the improvement of these systems, the team is in charge to define and optimize the FBW system on future platform.
You will start working on a virtual environment (Virtual Test Bench) in order to support the integration effort between the different systems model to check multiple interfaces and logic with our partner Thales in preparation to the verification campaign on our integrated test benches:
You are familiar with the FBW systems
You are enrolled in a Bachelor of Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
You have knowledge in Matlab and Simulink Software.
You speak and write in English, French is an asset
It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
