The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within the Huawei's Ohm Research Center (Nuremberg) is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning, and plays an important role in the Huawei Digital Power business in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.

Intern - Power Electronics for Datacenter Applications (m/f/d)
Your mission
Research about state-of-the-art solutions for power converter related technology used in datacenter applications (xPU, HPCs).
Production of insight reports about DC-DC converter topologies, control, magnetic, semiconductor, and packaging used in BMP, PSiP, and VRM for datacenter applications.
Support the research of the embedded power team in projects related to evaluation of new insight ideas.
Your areas of expertise
Currently enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. studies in power electronics, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
Equipped with some key technologies in the field of power electronics, such as semiconductor applications, control technologies, and magnetic integration technologies.
Familiar with basic power topologies (eg. BUCK, LLC, CDR, DCX, etc.) for BMP, PSiP, and VRM in datacenter system applications.
Fluent level of communication in English and good teamwork spirit.
