Do you want to use your technical skills and curiosity about markets to work and build tools for a software-based trading portfolio?
We are Capital Markets Investment Analytics (CMIA), an innovation-driven and centralized technology team within Capital Markets at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. We manage a broad and diversified set of portfolios and systematic applications. Development and maintenance of these applications require a unique combination of strong software skills and investment knowledge. We are looking for an intern to join our team this winter for an 8-month term.
We are a team of software engineers that work closely with portfolio managers to help implement and support various portfolios and applications. Our applications consist of back-testing, execution, and attribution.
Who you’ll work with
CMIA is a team of 4, based in Toronto. You will work alongside investment professionals in a world-class portfolio engineering team with a focus on investment-related software applications. We work very closely in an open and collaborative environment. We are entrepreneurial, tight knit, and have a performance driven culture. You will be mentored and guided by senior members of the CMIA team.

The expected hourly range for this role is $30 - $36 depending on experience and qualifications.
