Intern, Optical Engineer
SES is a leading innovator in the Quantum Key Distribution sector currently leading key initiiatives in this domain at European level.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Optical Engineer Intern to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced optical engineers to design, test, and analyze optical components and systems with application in quantum key distribution networks. The ideal candidate has hands-on laboratory experience, a strong understanding of optical physics, and the ability to assist in the procurement and evaluation of new components. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both optical measurement techniques and technical procurement.Briefly summarise the primary purpose of this job (business need) using no more than four sentences.
