Intern - Operations

Based at MAS Fabric Park Thulhiriya

MAS Fabric Park is Sri Lanka's first and only privately owned apparel intensive free trade zone. Its operations focus primarily on the development and value addition of fabrics. The Park spans across a sprawling 110 acres in Thulhiriya and Giriulla, playing a strategic role in the vertical integration of the MAS supply chain as well as leading critical sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Maintain and update databases and reports as required.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency.
• Organize and maintain records, files, and correspondence
• Ability to manage and maintain documents to the required standards.
• Willingness to work full‐time during the internship, supporting 24/7 operational utility services under demanding customer requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Final‐year undergraduate in B.Sc. in Mechanical, Process or Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates who have completed HNDE/NDT in Mechanical, Process, or Electrical disciplines would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of core subjects such as Thermodynamics, Process Engineering, Heat and Mass Transfer, Material Science, and Electrical Systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of Business, Finance, Technical, Procurement, and Departmental Budget Handling.
