Job Description

As an Intern (m/f/d) in Fleet Analytics, you will be an integral part of the Fleet Analytics & Performance team, working closely with experienced professionals. Your primary focus will be on analyzing performance data, identifying trends and anomalies and creating meaningful reports for stakeholders. This role is perfect for a student seeking practical experience in data-driven decision-making and performance management.

  • Analyze performance data, including service KPIs, fuel efficiency and initiative effectiveness to identify trends and drivers
  • Stitch and reconcile diverse datasets from various sources to create a unified view
  • Build comprehensive analyses using basic statistical methods and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Prepare and maintain recurring reports and dashboards, automating processes where possible
  • Create management-ready summaries by consolidating information from multiple datasets
  • Ensure data quality through validation, assumption documentation and inconsistency flagging
  • Support ad-hoc requests with deep dives, root-cause analyses and investigations
  • Update existing automated reporting and Qlik apps to enhance efficiency

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complex problems
  • Experience in combining datasets, including joins, merges and basic data cleaning
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data manipulation and presentation
  • SQL skills for querying and joining data, enabling efficient data retrieval
  • Python or R programming skills for data wrangling and analysis
  • Available to start promptly for a 6-month internship with the potential for extension up to 12 months
  • Good English language skills for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders
