Intern ‐ Merchandising

(BASED AT MAS ACTIVEWEAR - BIYAGAMA)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with suppliers to gather material details, track deliveries, and assist with the material ordering.
• Assist in sample Planning/ job card/ follow-up.
• Involve in sample material inventory control and trim cards management.
• Assist with heat-transfer testing management and execution.
• Assist in analyzing cost breakdowns and margins to ensure the data accuracy.
• Input product data into various databases and systems, mainly PLM & capacity plan.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Following or completed a degree or diploma in Business Management or Marketing.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good IT literacy.
