Do you enjoy organizing, analyzing data, and want to unleash your creativity? As an Intern (f/m/d), you will be a vital part of the Trading & Clearing Marketing team at Deutsche Börse Group. Our team develops and implements global marketing strategies for leading brands like Eurex, one of the world's largest derivatives exchanges, Eurex Clearing and Eurex Repo. With team members in Frankfurt, Chicago, and Singapore, you will join an international team executing marketing campaigns across all channels, including advertising, events, email marketing, and websites, with a strong focus on lead generation and thought leadership.
As an Intern - Marketing CRM & Analytics (f/m/d), you will merge the worlds of data analytics and customer relationship management. You will significantly support the marketing team by developing and implementing strategies, analyzing their performance, and managing our customer data infrastructure. This role is perfect for a candidate with both technical and communication skills who can interface with internal stakeholders to drive marketing success.

Your responsibilities:

  • You manage and maintain customer data in our CRM system (SAP Sales and Marketing Cloud), collaborating with the sales team to ensure data is accurate and up to date
  • You develop compelling dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and apply marketing analytics techniques to gather insights from social media, web traffic, and digital campaigns
  • You support the team by setting up, managing, and analyzing email marketing campaigns using SAP Marketing Cloud to enhance customer engagement
  • You take responsibility for developing and implementing targeted SEO strategies for website optimization
  • You assist the team with website management and provide editorial support for the Eurex websites via our content management system
  • You create reports and marketing analyses to measure success and support strategic decision-making
  • You engage in various projects and conduct independent research tasks in the marketing field to contribute to team objectives

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled as a full-time student at a state-recognized university for the entire duration of the internship and have completed at least 3 semesters. Your field of study is in (business) informatics, economics, business administration, mathematics, or a related field with a quantitative and marketing focus
  • You have ideally gained initial practical experience through internships in marketing, with demonstrated exposure to both Marketing Analytics and Customer Relationship Management (CRM), preferably in a B2B context
  • You have hands-on experience with email marketing campaigns and are familiar with performance indicators for websites, mailings, and digital advertising
  • Your strong analytical skills and cooperative nature allow you to quickly integrate into the team, while your curiosity and independent working style help you to master new topics
  • You possess very good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel) and have initial experience with SEO, analytics reporting, and CRM systems (knowledge of SAP Sales/Marketing Cloud is a strong advantage)
  • Basic knowledge of content management systems is a plus
  • You have a keen interest in capital markets, ideally including derivatives markets
  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken). Fluency in German is a significant advantage
