Job Description

Your area of work:

Treasury EMEA & Americas is responsible for managing the institution’s liquidity, ensuring the bank always has enough cash to meet its obligations. It oversees funding activities, including borrowing and investing, to optimize the bank’s balance sheet and cost of capital. The team also monitors and hedges financial risks such as interest rate, currency, and liquidity risk. Treasury ensures regulatory compliance related to capital and liquidity requirements. Finally, it supports overall financial stability by maintaining efficient access to financial markets and safeguarding the bank’s financial resources.

Your responsibilities:

  • Learn principles of cash management and investments in an international bank
  • Engage with platforms linked to Treasury activities (proprietary and third party)
  • Help organize, document and participate to meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • PMO activities related to projects involving Treasury Front Office
  • Help prepare and present key dashboards on Treasury activities
  • Support steering Automation and Data Analytics initiatives in Treasury Front Office

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Finance or related field with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement, or have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months.
  • Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of financial markets (e.g. experience abroad, internships) / in the treasury front office area
  • Pursuing a degree in economics/finance or related field
  • Strong understanding of basic investment instruments (Stocks, Bonds, ETFs, etc)
  • Advance analytical and numerical competency
  • Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coding and data analytics proficiency (VBA, PowerBi)
  • Project Management skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English with focus on clear and concise written and verbal communication
