Intern Launch & Lifecycle Management (m/f/d)

In this role, you support the global coordination of product launches and phase-out activities within Product Management and Marketing. You help ensure that launch windows run on time, all functions are aligned, and key deliverables such as product availability, marketing assets, and sales enablement are in place.

You work closely with cross-functional teams and gain hands-on exposure to how complex product portfolios are launched, managed, and phased out in a structured, global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of global product launch windows (e.g., April and October cycles) including timeline tracking and deliverable coordination
  • Assist in defining and maintaining global launch master plans and ensuring cross-functional alignment across departments
  • Monitor and support the delivery of key launch elements (product availability, marketing mix, sales enablement materials, training content)
  • Contribute to tracking, analysis, and evaluation of launch performance using defined KPIs and reporting tools
  • Support phase-out processes from decision to execution, including coordination with Product Management, Factories, Marketing, and Controlling
  • Participate in and help prepare cross-functional meetings (e.g., launch kick-offs, go/no-go decisions, stakeholder coordination sessions)

Skills & Experience

  • Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in product lifecycle management, marketing, and cross-functional project coordination
  • Structured, detail-oriented working style with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders in an international environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with project tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English; German and/or additional languages are an advantage
  • Availability for a minimum of 4 months

Legally binding notice: The minimum salary for this position, as stipulated by the collective agreement, is €2,478.76 gross per month (based on a 38.5-hour working week).
